My life isn’t as hectic as that of Dr. Paris, that’s for sure, but I still had quite the week. There’s currently 2 of us that do the same job in our dept., and we have plans to hire a 3rd next month, but we don’t have that person yet. So, with my colleague out of town, I did the work of 3 people this week. I counted: I sent 429 emails. That’s a lot, and my wrist genuinely hurts.

Mr. S and I saw Feist on Wednesday and she didn’t deliver the transcendent experience I was hoping for. I almost had more fun watching the sole person who danced to “Mushaboom.” I was so jealous at her sense of personal freedom.
