75? 81? who cares! what a treat to have warm sun in april.
I am off to Houston this weekend for a college roommate’s baby shower. I haven’t seen her since 1999, and I am, in a word, stoked. There’ll be 4 of us Baylorites/Alpha Chis/Village dwellers (our apt. complex in college) and I think it’s going to be fabulous. I am staying with my brother and flying in with hours to spare on my neice’s first birthday AND I will be eating Tex-Mex in the prefix’s home state. Sounds good to me!
Speaking of news, Dr. Paris has a new job. Sniff.
I went to a baby shower yesterday for a HS friend and each of her boobs is literally the size of my head. Each. Someone asked her if she was breastfeeding and it took all I had to not fall out my chair laughing.

7 of us from church went to rural IL this weekend to a conference for like-minded women who think the same about church and faith. Turns out that we here in our scrappy, dirty, unorganized little church are soooooooo lucky, and pretty darn baggage free when compared to other folks.

Who is the best character on tv?
(Six months ago I would have said John Locke on “Lost” is the best character on tv right now…but I have so changed my mind. I’m beginning to think that he is an Other, or has something to do with Dharma; he’s like a different man than he was in earlier seasons!)
