As far as a subject line, the above is pretty decent. As a band name, though…eh. So sez the Onion AV Club.

Dixie chicks @#1. (Does anyone else notice that the URL for Billboard magazine is spelled wrong??? Oh, it looks like they own both the correct and incorrect spelling. Smert!)

MSNBC covers the Senator's race in MN

How's your spelling? (Quite misleading; it's a vocab lesson, too.)

There's gonna be a whole new font as the default in Word when Office 2007 comes out. (I really don't like TNR.)

A couple years ago, I prayed regularly – with and without other people – and refer to that time in my head as my Year of Prayer. This year, apparently, is a Year of Food for me. Great meals, food blogs, books…it's all here with me, some intentional, some not. I am enjoying it greatly.

My brother-in-law's vocation as a chef and Mr. S' great cooking certainly has influenced me. The last book I read – The Seasoning of a Chef : My Journey from Diner to Ducasse and Beyond – was definitely written by a non-writer (connection to publishing: his twin brother, editor at Broadway) and I finished it thinking that he (the writer) is an asshole chef. Then, I google…and I'm right. Feels good to be right, and to be learning along the way.
