I am home early enough to watch some Oprah, but I just can't stand to turn it on. She's really fallen off my radar since the James Frey debacle; I think she was just mean to him. Clearly she was pissed that she was duped, but in the show that featured the book, there was a segment who was really helped by it. Her meanspiritedness, I think, kind of negated all that. (Maybe I should watch today to catch Reggie's makeup tips…but isn't that what her website is for?)
Will someone PLEASE watch "So NoTORIous" for me this weekend and let me know if it's all it's cracked up to be? Everytime the words DONNA or MARTIN are mentioned, you must either drink or make your cleavage square.
my cousin is having her first baby with her new husband and her friend is throwing her a shower, and in the invitation, spelled the word ADVICE as ADVISE. I know that ADVISE is a word, but that's not what she meant. Grr.
I have a new niece! She was born on Wednesday, and has the same name as Micah's sister, therefore I refer to her as Sophia Grace Sampedro Prill. Ha!
Both Jav and David emailed me this week to say that they missed my blog. I thought about telling them about this, but nah – I like that I can say things about my Veege without censoring.

Some weird ass atheist posted "over 300 proofs for God's existence" that are pretty funny. (Not weird bc he/she's an atheist – weird bc s/he found the time to post all this!) I coulnd't get through them all, but laughed at 30, 45, 57, 94, and 181.

Do you remember last week when I mentioned that our kids can go to UPenn for free if we make <=50k? Well pack your bags for Boston – Hahvahd upped it to 60! Oh, it's on. (Now when schools without ridiculous admission policies adopt the same policies, that's when it's really beneficial.)

i was going to try and try to not post about tv in this entry but i can't: Lost was SO good! Colleen and i emailed about it all morning, and my friend Anne in NY who just got back from her honeymoon in Paris got to see it last night and we emailed too! Wow. (Seriously- whatever Katey Segal is drinking, i want some.) Mr. S likes her too – that's the first white woman i've heard him appreciate in a long time.
Mr. S and i had a big ol' fight the other night in Ikea. It's resolved, but i went to bed mad. I don't recommend it. (He went to bed slightly confused, but without any frustration. HOW does he do it???)
I have been walking every day after work since the honeymoon and i swear i have dropped an ounce or 2. every little bit helps. i am trying to eat better, and am doing better with portion control. i thought about WW but it's expensive, and somewhat easy if you google the point formula. i just need to know what my daily point total would be though.
