Done!
It’s over, I’m breathing, still alive. Whew. Onward!
Ya’ll familiar with myspace.com? A friend of mine at work meets her various boyfriends that way. Am I weird for thinking that people over 30 are kind of old for it? I mean, do match.com like everyone else…right Rachel?

Here’s a random dentistry site where, for some reason, Screech is their celebrity spokesperson.
Other than that, I got NUTTIN, which I love!

Best Surprises
I just said to Sheraton a couple days ago, while we were driving down the New and Improved Lake Street, “I hope the taxes don’t get so high now that all the ‘foreign-born entrpuerners’ are driven out.” And voila, here’s proof in the Trib that I didn’t speak too soon.
The new space at church? The smarter, bigger, prettier older sibling of our space on 43rd. Beautiful. Snaps to LTS for the décor!

In (my own personal) TV Land, “Grey’s Anatomy” is kicking “Lost’s” butt. How did this happen so quickly?
Speaking of tv showdowns, I pick James Frey. Oprah. Oprah. Oprah. Damn. You have let me down, sister. Rumor has it that Augusten Burroughs is the next target. Have you read “Running with Scissors”? I barely made it through…it bugged the crap out of me, no pun intended. Here’s a profile of him (kudos for the term, “vortex of weirdness”).
Did anyone else see a comment from “anonymous” earlier this week regarding my affinity for Diet Coke? He/she also left the so helpful link about fake sugars. (If I thought it were Shelley, I’d call her out.) Thanks Anonymous! I’ll toast you with my pretty poison at lunch.
Spent 4+ hours at D’Amico on Saturday night with the future in-laws, just STUFFING ourselves crazy. Best: duck breast atop squash pudding with foie gras. 2nd Best: Grandma Ruth working the Dreadlocked Waiter. Wow. Who knew?
BEST SURPRISE EVER: my sister-in-law surprised me and came in town for my wedding shower! She lives in Houston and is pregnant so can’t make it to the wedding. She showed up with my mom on the doorstep on Friday afternoon – what a great, perfect surprise. Thank you thank you!
Reminder: you’re thinking kind thoughts about me tomorrow at 10 AM. By 10:30, I am hoping to be back to normal, and saving the rest of my worries for my yearly work review of 2007. (No worries to be had about wedding planning…small budget = small duties!)
