i don’t know what people complain about – going through closing this morning was easier than sitting through the 3 hours of “kong”! we had a real varsity team behind us – even the other realtor commented on how primo our loan officer is. she’s by referral only so let us know if you need one!

the next 3-4 days will be pack, unpack, and repack (no tupac). badum dum.

i saw “brokeback mountain” yesterday so while i do the drudgery of packing and unpacking S’s life from my car I’ll daydream about heath ledger. dayum. that movie is like kp heaven- classic country music AND cowboys? no matter what my father in law says – and i quote, “what the liberals don’t know is that there is no such thing as gay cowboys” – i for one, am proud to spend my money to watch that movie. did i give heath a “dayum” yet? well worth the tears, the $6.50, and the time.

if you haven’t rsvp’d yet for our little ice cream social in march please do so. i am worried no one is coming!

would i be crazy to have a housewarming party the night before and kill like 100 birds with one stone?

dinner at auriga tonight to celebrate (our down payment check was too much, so we’re going to eat our refund!). we’ll see how it does against star trib’s rest. of the year (and our favorite)!

i apologize for the berth of exclamation points here. that’s the limit of my excitement for 2005, i promise.

we’re home after 4 days away. 18 of those hours were spent in the car. the rest of the time, i swear, was spent eating.

i am so antsy to get tomorrow (house closing) over with that i had to blog. just to do something! my right shoulder has been killing me ever since i got out of work on friday…i think (hope) it’s just tension.

saw Kong and didn’t cry a tear, although i fully expected to. i have yet to fall in love with a 3 hour movie. it kills me to be in a theater that long.
