ben update
ben broke his T6 not T4, and will not need surgery! Yea!

Ben, our music pastor, was in a dirtbiking accident yesterday and broke a vertabrae. He was riding bumps, was bucked off his bike, and landed on his head. He is doing okay – he is at HCMC (our county hospital) and is not paralyzed. S. and I went to see him last night, and the dr.s were getting ready to run CT scans, Xrays, etc. the accident happened at 4:30 pm yesterday and it was 10:30 pm when we saw him, so he was very tired. He is on painkillers. They think he will be in the hospital for a week.
Doug blogged a little about it, too.
Pray for Ben, and his family. His 5 year old son was with him, but didn’t see the accident but held Ben’s hand until the ambulance came. Ben’s family is moving in 2 weeks, and Ben is an avid guitar player.
