28
I write from the flip side of 28. Thanks for all your kind wishes yesterday. I am glad to see that no new wrinkles formed overnight – instead, I have been blessed with a (youthful) pimple. I’m like the reverse of my mom; she had gray hair when she was 20. I’ve never seen one on me…granted, I wasn’t married to my father when I was 20.

I have so many great links to share. Yes, it’s going to be one of those impersonal posts you love so much! (Thanks to Rachel for the completely inappropriate images. Yes, I CAN go to church on Sunday, post blasphemous images on my blog, and vote Democrat. As one at my HS would have said in 1995, BOOOO YA!)
Books: Some of you know that I keep list of the books I have read – well, this guy keeps a website. I am kind of jealous! And, here is a site that documents writers’ rejections. It’s kind of inspiring, kind of depressing. And just ’cause I have been hanging onto this one for a while and it kinda fits, here’s the reverse dictionary.
Huh?: (Yeah, I don’t know what else to call this category.) Here’s Bill Maher saying what he doesn’t like about religion, an article on Slate.com discussing some perplexing HIV/AIDS statistics in the US, and a saucy art display in a library (The question in the first paragraph really makes me laugh in a HS kind of way).
internet with a lower case “i”: Hey, this is neat – 2 new domain names have been approved; .post and .travel. Can we just get “.smut” approved and save the rest of us the trouble! (Oh, and FYI, when inputting urls of your friend’s blogs, be sure to spell BLOGSPOT with 1 s, not 2. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.) Also, this Electoral Vote website is updated every day. Worth a look. Last, here’s PCMag.com’s top 101 sites. Happy surfing.
Joke Moment: Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other, and says “Does this taste funny to you?”
