Coldest Day in Five Seven Years
Air Temp: 22 below zero. Wind Chill/Feels Like Temperature: 43 below. There is nothing more to say about that.

Last night I went to see Crowns, a show at the Guthrie. It was fantastic! Anna made a very astute comment about the Norweigian-ness of the audience…we got NO spirit. The bane of having Northern European roots – low rythmic ability and a gripping fear of doing anything ca-razy in public. It sucks.

I’ve been thinking lately about how God often works in shapes – lines and circles, in particular. The book I am reading lately (see the DESSERTS section) is enforcing my view on circles. Affirmation! Yea!

In spirit of being Ice Cold, here are 2 articles to ponder.

It’s Friday!

Tapit Report
The tapit report is a phone report that is run for salespeople, charting how long they have spent on the phone. Doesn’t it sound like it could be something much more fun?

FYI, I cannot vouch for beets, but soup does not make you nuts.

Life Situations Dealt With Only In Cold Weather States:
#88: The sweet lullaby of snow plows outside your house at 11:30 PM
#113: The gripping fear of parking on the wrong side of the street and getting towed

Graham. Colson. Dobson. Falwell. Warren. Schuller. Etc. All signed a waiver to not give negative press. Here is their feedback.

Celebrity mug shots: always entertaining.

It’s so cold. I think Minnesota is the only state where the weather is a genuine converastion topic. One is not being trite or boring when discussing the weather. It’s legit!
